L-R
Nivea Lip Butter 'Rasberry Rose', Maybelline Colour Sensational lip liner 'Sweet Pink, Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Colour 8 'Bikini Pink', Bobbi Brown Lipgloss 31 'Pink Blossom'.

Lip products are one of my favourite beauty things to buy. In fact, there's nothing more I love than searching for the perfect lipstick, and then the perfect lipgloss to go with it, which of course needs a perfect lip liner and lip balm...

I'm never overly wowed by lipsticks, they have to have 3 quality's to make the cut; moisturising, coverage and long lasting. If a lipstick fails to deliver this then It usually heads to the back of my lipstick draw rarely to see the light of day.

Lately I've been looking for the perfect peachy nude shade to grace my lips. I usually find it quite hard to find something perfect in this category, whether the product be too drying or my highly pigmented lips not doing it any favours. BUT I feel I may be onto a winner with this combo.

I start with a good lashing of the new Nivea Lip butters in Rasperrby Rose. This is the only one I picked up, but this smells (and tastes...) exactly like raspberry maoams so I think I'm just gonna have to pick up some more. This lip product is thick, creamy and sinks in lovely after being worked into the lips providing a good base to work with.

Next I line my lips with Maybelline Colour Sensational lip liner in 'Sweet Pink'. This colour is about the same colour as my lips but provides just enough to give me some shape.

Then comes the good stuff. Lipstick and lipgloss.

These Bobbi Brown products are GORGEOUS. Creamy, good coverage, long lasting - no wonder I love them! I like to apply the Bobbi Brown lipstick in 8 'Bikini Pink' with a lipbrush for better smoother coverage in the morning, but If I'm on the run I'll just use it from the bullet, nothing more pretentious than whipping out a lip brush on the train right?

The colour is a definite light girly pink, perfect with a smokey eye. With a good coat of Bobbi Brown lipgloss in 31 'Pink Blossom' I have gorgeous glossy lips in an instance. Not once trace of stickiness in existence. Perfect.

Any others I need to try to get gorgeous nudey lips?

(Please mind the state of my over loved naked palette)

L-R (ish)
Laura Mercier Silk creme foundation (Peach ivory), Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr (40-permanent taupe), Naked Palette 1, Estee Lauder double wear (Desert Beige), Nars blush (deep throat), MUA cream blush (Dolly), Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer (light), Nars bronzer (laguna), Vichy Dermablend loose setting powder (transparent), Seventeen 3 point eyeliner,  Maybelline Falsies mascara (Black), Kat Von D lipstick (hellbent - red), MUA waterproof liquid eyeliner, unbranded eyelash curlers, MAC pressed powder (NC25), Estee Lauder lipstick  (17 - Rose Tea), UNE lipstick (L05), Natural Collection lip liner (pink colour).

This is what I wear on my face every single day. Yes! every single dayI'm a creature of habit, I can't deny it. This looks like an awful lot, but please bear in mind it's sometimes an either or (foundation, powder, lipstick, eye shadow). I'd also like to add that I’m a fan girl for the Real Technique brushes they are just perfect but they are in dire need of a good wash so they aren't pictured.

First I start with a good clean base (see previous post). Once my La Roche Posay MAT has sunk into my skin I apply Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer to any blemishes and slightly under my eye. This concealer literally does what it says on the tin, no blemishes to be seen (camo!). After a good work into the skin with my finger it blends effortlessly and not cakey what-so-ever. The only thing I don't like about this product is that it's only available in the states (insert crying emoji).
Next I move to onto foundation. This is a tossup between Estee Lauder Double wear and Laura Mercier Silk Creme. Both very thick and pigmented, just how I like my foundations. At the moment I have been using double wear, usually on it's own but for an extra glow I mix Dr Jart Wate Fuse BB Cream into it for the most luminous, good coverage skin. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE Double wear by itself, it's an old favourite and I always go back to it. However, Silk Creme is beautiful, just be warned it is very pigmented and sometimes a little hard to buff in. (For reference I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush for liquid foundations).

After my face is put on I'll move onto setting it. I always use Dermablend in the morning. A beautiful translucent setting powder which gives you amazingly glowy skin and keeps oil at bay (WIN). For touch ups during the day I'll use MAC pressed powder, just because it is handy in my bag (i'm lazy).
Moving onto blushes and bronzers. My absolute favourite blush is Nars Deep Throat(cheeky) a beautiful true girly pink with a slight hint of glitter. Don't let this put you off though, there is no glitter ball in sight to be had with this one, just nice glowy skin....It also lasts forever (double WIN). I also thought I'd throw in MUA cream blush in Dolly. At only around £2 this is such a great product. It's slightly warmer than deep throat and goes on very smoothly again adding a lovely dewy finish (used with RT Stippling brush) I'd highly recommend. Bronzer is always Nars Laguna. Always. Nothing compares. (Nothing compares to youuuuuu....). No but really everyone needs to try this, beautifully contours, warms up the skin, with no orangeness in sight.

Onto eyes. I'm rarely seen without black liquid eyeliner and a bit of a flick. I have fairly small eyes and this definitely sorts out that problem. This one by MUA is brilliant. No complaints and for the tiny price I paid I will almost certainly repurchase. With a fine nib and little smudging I can always rely on this little buddy. I love to wear bronzey/taupey shades on my lids and this Maybelline colour tattoo is perfect for long-lasting eyeshadowness to give some definition and depth to my eyes.

After a good curling of my lashes and a good few coats of Maybelline Falsies mascara (it's ok...) I'm good to go.

On the way I'll throw a lipstick always a dark pinky nude or a red. These lipsticks are great, especially the Kat Von D ones. Smooth, nourishing and long-lasting.

So that's all folks. Any reviews you would like to see?

I'm going to start this blog with a series of dailys and favourites. Daily skincare (hence the title), daily makeup, favourite _____ etc...

Lets start with my skin care routine...

 L-R
NO7 Cleansing Brush, Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Balm 100ml, EH Rosehip Exfoliating Seeds 10g, Botanics Cleansing toner 'All Bright', La Roche-Posay Effclar Duo, La Roche-Posay Effclar Mat, Boots Essentials Cleansing Wipes. Extras - Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask, Origins 'Weil for Origins' Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Serum, Sanctuary Secret Facial Oil 30ml

Here's what it consists of. Of course it changes now and again but right now this is what I'll use. I've actually found products that work for me and some absolute must haves. I'll list the products in order of how I would use them.

For reference I have oily/combination skin. The main results I want are glow, hydration and no oil.

Let's start in the morning...

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Rosehip Exfoliating Seeds
These are just tiny exfoliating grains you add to the Moringa Balm to exfoliate your skin. This tiny pot holds LOADS. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend this as a regular exfoliator, the grains are extremely harsh. But on a once a week scale my skin can handle this and it does do the job quite nicely if I am extra gentle.

No 7 Cleansing Brush
This is NO 7s answer to the Clarisonic. A long handled brush powered by batteries to deep cleanse the skin. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now. So far I haven't had the dreaded 'purging' stage (the odd spot now and again), however I have been using it sparingly, around every other day; usually at night. I find it cleans my pores perfectly and I have definitely noticed smoother more radiant skin and a better base for my makeup to go over. I'll probably do a full review on this so keep your eyes peeled..

Botanics Cleansing Toner
I love this! This again is a recent addition to my skincare routine, but I've definitely been noticing a difference. I never really got the importance or point of a toner before but after using this I won't ever leave it out again. This toner removes any makeup that may be left on my face after cleansing whilst balancing my skin out and leaving it feeling refreshed. No signs of it stripping my skin of moisture which I used to find with most toners - an all round winner in my eyes.

La Roche-Posay Effclar Duo
If you’re a regular on the blogs you will know how much hype this product has had recently. From countless recommendations I bought this on a 2 for £15 offer (what a bargain!) and I've never looked back. I'm not quite sure where this is meant to fit in on my routine, but I just use it as a kind of serum underneath my moisturiser. It smoothes my skin, calms it and it has definitely cleared some of my blemishes up.

La Roche-Posay Effclar Mat
As a recent convert to 'LRP' this was bound to enter my routine at some point. A mattifying 'Anti-shine, Anti-Enlarged Pores' moisturiser - perfect. I find it does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. Mattifys my skin, leaves a smooth base for makeup and keeps my skin feeling nice all day. This is definitely for the oily skin people amongst us as it will definitely dry out your skin if not. But if you suffer from keeping oil at bay, this one’s a winner.

EXTRAS
These are the products I will use now and again; think hydrating masks, soothing oils, can't-be-bothered/too drunk to take off my makeup.

Origins drink it up intensive mask
I'm nearly out of this *cry’s*. This is THE ONE in terms of hydrating masks. I love the fact it is an overnight one. I just pop this on instead of a night cream and I will wake up feeling amazing. Thick, smells lovely, doesn't feeling heavy on the skin - lovely. Will be repurchasing.

Dr Weils for Orgins Mega Mushroom skin relief serum
This has been thrown out for my duo. I do still have a place for it though but at a whopping £30+ I'm glad this has been put to the side for a while. I'll use this if my skin is feeling a bit 'blah' and it is a perfect pick-me-up. Not worth the money though.... (Love you really origins).

Sanctury Secret Facial Oil
I needed to add an oil into my routine and this was the best one I could find in boots. I was obviously reluctant to try an oil, (oil+oily skin=ARGH) but don't be scared, in fact an oil will control any oil if used correctly. This feels very nourishing on the skin, almost like it is sinking right through my skin. Just don't put it on if you’re in any company....

Boots Essential Wipes
I usually get these on a 3 for £3 deal at boots. For the money you can't expect much but they are perfect in terms of quickness to remove makeup. Especially as I'm stumbling in from a night out and the last thing I want to do is take off my makeup.

So that's it!
The only thing missing from my routine is a night cream, I was using the Origins Mega Mushroom skin relief face cream but I've just used the last drops.

What would you recommend?
